Denis Pushilin comments on State Border Service of Ukraine’s statement

The head of the Interdepartmental Committee on Accreditation of humanitarian missions, the plenipotentiary representative of the DPR at the negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin commented on the statement of the State Border Service of Ukraine that the Donbass soldiers did not allow 25 trucks of humanitarian aid into the territory of the LPR.

“Given that Ukraine is in no hurry to restore bridges and appropriate passing points with the Lugansk People’s Republic, as well as taking into account the fact that the Ukrainian side has not yet made a withdrawal of forces and means in the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya, and therefore the reconstruction of the bridge has not started; all goods are coming into the LPR in transit through the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The DPR has definite procedures for the passage of goods through the territory of the Republic. In this case, the fact of the technical documentation blunder took place. In the near future cargoes will get to their destination in the LPR,” Denis Pushilin said.

Let us recall, the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine claimed that on Thursday, at the checkpoint “Novotroitskoe” Ukrainian border guards have issued 25 trucks with humanitarian aid from the organization “Regional Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine,” however, about 5 p.m. the column was returned without explanation.
