On October 10, the solemn event on the occasion of the Day of Internal Affairs Officers took place in the Donetsk National Academic Musical and Drama Theatre. The event was attended by the Head of the Republic Alexander Zakharchenko, the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin and the Minister of Internal Affairs Alexey Dikiy.

On November 10, in Makeyevka held a solemn event on the occasion of the DPR Internal Affairs Employees' Day. The ceremony was attended by the DPR People's Council Chairman Denis Pushilin deputies Sergey Zavdoveyev, Maksim Knysh, Yuri Sivokonenko, Victor Neher, Yuri Pokintelitsa, Valery Skorohodov, Vladimir Chekun and acting head of Makeyevka city administration Valery Lyakhovets.

On November 9, Minsk hosted a regular meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass. The agenda included issues of implementation of the Framework Agreement on disengagement of forces and means, compliance with armistice and political issues.

On November 3, 2016, the X Russian World Assembly, during which the participants discussed topical issues of Russian world, took place in Moscow. The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin.

On November 1, a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Rescue Service Worker, which was attended by the Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin, the Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Alexey Kostrubitsky was held.

On October 30, grand opening of the exhibition “Soviet Nuremberg” was held in the Donetsk Military-Historical Museum of the Great Patriotic War. The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin, the Acting Minister of Culture of the DPR Mikhail Zheltyakov and the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Aristarkhov.

On October 27, the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation held a meeting of the Committee of public support for the inhabitants of the South-East of Ukraine, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Yury Vorobyov.

On September 26, the Trilateral meeting of contact group on the conflict settlement in Donbass was hosted in Minsk. The agenda included issues related to non-fulfillment by Ukraine of the Framework Decision on disengagement of forces and means in Stanitsa Luganskaya, the aggravation of the situation on the contact line and realization of “Steinmeier formula”.

We continue to advocate the implementation of the “Steinmeier formula”. This formula was proposed and approved at the Paris summit on October 2. However, the Ukrainian side on the subgroup on political issues had been delaying the discussion throughout the year, trying to make the issue fall outside the scope of agenda and, in fact, sabotaged the work in this direction.

On October 24, the round-table, dedicated to the results of the “Normandy Four” summit in Berlin and prospects of the Minsk process, took place in the conference hall of the Russian News Agency TASS.
