On July, 13 the meeting of the Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbass took place in Minsk. The agenda included issues relating to the political settlement, deterioration of the situation on the contact line and the exchange of prisoners.

On Saturday, July, 9 2016 two teams from the Donetsk People's Republic take part in All-Russian race "The race of heroes", which is held for the first time this summer in the Crimea.

On July, 8 an enlarged meeting of public organization’s presidium of “Russian Community of the Crimea” has taken place in the Republic of Crimea.

The grand opening of the representative office of the Public Movement “Donetsk Republic” took place today, on July 8. The representatives of the Crimean parliament and representative of the Public Movement “Donetsk Republic” in Crimea, Andrey Kozenko, participated in the event.

On Tuesday July 5, 2016, the plenipotentiary representative of the Donetsk People's Republic contact group at negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin took part in the “From the First Person” programme on the “Union” TV channel.

On July 5, 2016, Denis Pushilin, the Chairman of the DPR People`s Council, took part in the solemn presentation ceremony the membership cards of the Donetsk Republic Social Movement to the DPR Supreme Court staff.

Today, on July 2, 2016, the opening of weekly International Youth Forum "Foros Republic 2016" was held in the Crimea Republic. The Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin and the DPR Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs Natalya Nikonorova presented at the forum.

On June 30, 2016, the plenipotentiary representatives of the DPR and LPR in the Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbass Denis Pushilin and Vladislav Deinego, Director of the Centre for Current Politics Alexey Chesnakov discussed the results of the Minsk agreements implementation in the first half of 2016 at the Round Table Discussion.

On June 29, the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Settlement of the Conflict in Donbass took place. The issues concerning exacerbation of the situation on the contact line were put on the agenda of the meeting.

Despite the statements of the Ukrainian President, the political issues of the negotiation process were and remain a priority. Peaceful settlement of a conflict as a whole remains without progress and undecided in the work of political subgroup. Especially considering the situation on the demarcation line which is escalating every day.
