On May 12, a number of festive events dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the Lugansk People’s Republic took place in Lugansk. The official delegation of the Donetsk People’s Republic headed by the Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko took part in celebrations. 

On May 9, the Donetsk Central Park of Culture and Rest named after A.S. Shcherbakov hosted a concert of famous Russian performers within the framework of the Russian Center's activity. According to the correspondent of the official site of the DPR, Vadim Samoilov, Vika Tsyganova and Alexander Marshal congratulated citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic on Victory Day. 

On May 5, with the assistance of the Russian Center, a videoconference entitled "The Importance of the National Action "Immortal Regiment" in the Patriotic Education of Youth" was held in the Art-Donbass art museum.

On May 4, a regular meeting of the Contact Group took place in the capital of the Republic of Belarus. The agenda of the meeting included issues of the observance of a cease-fire, implementation of the Agreement on Separation of Forces and Means, as well as preparation for prisoner exchange.

Brusque and revolting attack, to which the Ukrainian Armed Forces subjected the employees of the Donetsk water filtration plant, who were riding in the bus of the “Water of Donbass” public utility company, was reflected in the findings of the Joint Centre on Control and Coordination’s experts and the reports of the OSCE SMM. 

The process of exchanging prisoners between the Donetsk People's Republic and Ukraine is still a matter of serious disagreement between the parties. This was said to Izvestia by DPR Permanent Representative at the talks of the Contact Group in Minsk, Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin.

On May 1, with the support of the Russian Center, the capital's Park of Culture and Recreation named after A.Sh. Scherbakov, hosted a concert with the participation of the Russian music groups "Gorod 312" and "KVATRO" and Russian singer Elvira T. More than 10 thousand people came to listen to the performers from Russia. Among them there were the Head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, and the Chairman of the People's Council, Denis Pushilin.

I am not sure that a situation on the line of contact will change dramatically only because not a so-called anti-terrorist operation, but a military operation of united forces that will be launched on the part of Ukraine and will target the citizens of the Republics.

On April 23, Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin met with the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Mali, the chairman of the SADI (African Solidarity for Democracy and Independence) party, Oumar Mariko. This is reported by a correspondent for the official website of the Donetsk People's Republic.

On the eve of the 75th anniversary of Donbass liberation, Denis Pushilin on behalf of the Russian Centre invited the representatives of hero cities of the Soviet Union to rebuild an alley destroyed as a result of hostilities over Saur-Mogila in 2014. This proposal was made on April 19 during a conference entitled “Cultural space of the people of Russia and Donbass”, which took place in Moscow.
