On December 29, at the initiative of the Donetsk Republic public movement, within the framework of the Bright Childhood and Heroes projects, with the support of DPR People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka, a visit to the Donetsk cinema named after T. G. Shevchenko was organized for children of military personnel and children living in the frontline areas of the Republic.

On December 26, a concert, which was dedicated to New Year and Christmas holidays and organized for children, was held in the Donetsk Republican Palace of Children and Youth Creativity. The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, Head of the “Donetsk Republic” faction Valery Skorokhodov, as well as guests from Russia – the deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation…

On December 26, a solemn event dedicated to awarding of master’s degree diplomas to extra-mural students in the higher vocational education establishment “the Donetsk Academy of Management and State Service under the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic”. The event was attended by the Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka.

On December 25, a solemn meeting on the occasion of the upcoming New Year was held at the Palace of Culture named after V. V. Kuibyshev. The event was attended by the Chairman of the People’s Council, Vladimir Bidyovka, the acting head of Donetsk City Council, Alexey Kulemzin, representatives of city and district administrations, trade union organizations, as well as public representatives.

Member of the People's Council Elena Shishkina commented on the DPR Law “On Notaries” that came into force, which implies the simultaneous functioning of private and public notaries in the DPR.
