Yermak’s statement that a special status of Donbass is not negotiable during Minsk negotiations means that Ukraine has no intention to comply with the Package of Measures and is not inclined to end the war in Donbass. This was stated by Deputy of the DPR’s People’s Council Miroslav Rudenko in an interview to the Donetsk News Agency.

The statement of the aide to the President of Ukraine Zelensky Andrey Yermak that the special status is not the subject of negotiations at the meetings in Minsk and in the “Normandy format” was commented in an interview with RIA Novosti by the deputy of the DPR People’s Council, Alexander Kurenkov.

Deputy of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladislav Berdichevsky commented on Andrey Yermak’s statement, an adviser of the Ukrainian president, that a special status of the DPR and the LPR was not negotiable either in the Normandy format or in Minsk.

On September 23, in the Donetsk Republican Art Museum, celebrations were held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of its founding. On September 20, the delegation of the Donetsk People’s Republic, headed by Head of State Denis Pushilin, visited the military parade of the Tskhinvali garrison on the occasion of Republic Day of South Ossetia.

Deputy of the DPR People’s Council Vladislav Berdichevsky commented for RIA Novosti Vadim Pristayko’s statement that one of Kiev’s steps to resolve the conflict in Donbass would be to deploy a UN peacekeeping mission in the region if it wasn't resolved on the basis of the Minsk agreements.

On September 18, an official delegation of the Donetsk People’s Republic headed by the Head of the Republic Denis Pushilin carried out a working visit to the capital of the Republic of South Osetia – Alania Vladikavkaz. The delegation included the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, deputies of the People’s Council Valery Skorokhodov and Sergey Prokopenko.
