Vladimir Bidyovka: Creation of Youth Parliament is highly correct and balanced decision (video)

In Ukraine, government policy regarding youth was ineffective and insufficient. This was stated by the DPR People’s Council Chairman, Vladimir Bidyovka, on the programme “Political Entrails” on Union television channel.

“It is necessary to recognize the fact that after the collapse of the USSR, in Ukraine, nobody cared about the youth. Today we must fix it and use the energy of young people in the right direction. They must learn to understand how the state works and to take part in the decision-making that relates to youth policy or patriotic education. <…>

Little time will pass and it is these people who are to decide the fate of the state, working in various fields. Someone in science, someone in politics, and someone at a factory. Therefore, the creation of the Youth Parliament is a highly correct and balanced decision. I am sure that it will become an effective platform where young people should be able to realise their potential and express opinions on various issues,” Vladimir Bidyovka said.

The show was also attended by deputies of the DPR People’s Council Valery Skorokhodov, Vladimir Medvedev and Kirill Makarov.
