On June 2, a working meeting was held in the capital of the Lugansk People's Republic, during which prospects for the development of interparliamentary cooperation between the DPR and the LPR were outlined. The event was attended by an official delegation of the DPR, led by the DPR People’s Council Chairman, Vladimir Bidyovka.

On May 24, in the Specialized School No. 95 of the city of Donetsk municipal educational institution, a solemn school assembly was held, dedicated to the end of the school year. The event was attended by DPR People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka and deputy of the People’s Council Alla Obolenskaya.

On May 23, a solemn event dedicated to Day of Librarians of the Donetsk People’s Republic took place in a concert hall of the Donetsk State Academic Philharmonic Society. The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka.

On May 21, in the capital's Park of Culture and Rest named after the Lenin Komsomol, a rally was held dedicated to the opening of a portrait sculpture of Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic Oleg Mamiyev and the foundation of the Alley of Heroes memorial complex.

On May 17, a delegation of the Donetsk People's Republic arrived in the city of Tskhinvali of the Republic of South Ossetia on a working visit. The delegation was led by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, Vladimir Bidyovka, and was included deputies of the People’s Council Vladislav Berdichevsky and Natalia Pshenichnaya.

On May 17, the delegation of the Donetsk People’s Republic met with the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov as a part of working visit to Tskhinvali, the Republic of South Ossetia. The delegation was headed by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, it included the Deputies of the People’s Council Vladislav Berdichevsky and Natalia Pshenichnaya.

On May 12, the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka and the People’s Council’s deputy Valery Skorokhodov arrived in Lugansk to take part in celebratory events dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the referendum on independence in the Luhansk People’s Republic.

On May 11, a procession of delegations of cities and districts dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Referendum on the independence of the DPR was held in the capital of the Republic.
